Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Solar Sales Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for expanding our customer base by promoting and selling solar energy solutions to commercial clients. Duties
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach and networking
- Conduct in-person and virtual presentations to educate clients on solar energy benefits and solutions
- Develop tailored proposals that meet client needs, leveraging technical knowledge of solar products
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close sales effectively
- Manage existing accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and foster long-term relationships
- Collaborate with marketing teams to generate leads and promote brand awareness
- Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities, follow-ups, and pipeline management
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and technological advancements in solar energy
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, addressing client questions and concerns professionally
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales, business development, or B2B sales within the renewable energy sector
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability in account management and closing deals effectively
- Familiarity with marketing strategies related to technology sales and customer engagement
- Analysis skills to assess client needs and recommend suitable solar solutions
- Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms is preferred
- Technical sales experience with renewable energy products is a plus
- Customer service orientation with a focus on building lasting client relationships
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases
