Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee daily operations in our bustling restaurant. As Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient kitchen workflows, maintaining food safety standards, and leading a team of culinary and service staff to achieve operational excellence. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate food preparation and cooking activities to ensure quality standards are met
- Oversee food handling procedures, ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation regulations
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and monitor stock to prevent shortages or overstocking
- Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff, including interviewing and onboarding new team members
- Implement and enforce food safety protocols and proper hygiene practices
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in accordance with health codes
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service flow and customer satisfaction
- Lead restaurant management tasks including scheduling, supervising staff, and managing customer service standards
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally to uphold the restaurant’s reputation
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in leadership, food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Supervising experience in a fast-paced food service or restaurant setting
- Strong background in restaurant management, including team management, inventory control, and operational oversight
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS and cash handling procedures
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and health regulations
- Experience with interviewing and hiring restaurant staff is preferred
- Previous hotel or barista experience is a plus but not required
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively

Pay: $42,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
