Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Engineer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining and improving product quality through rigorous inspection, analysis, and process optimization. Responsibilities
· Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with IATF 16949, CSR’s and internal quality standards.
· Develop, maintain, and update quality procedures, work instructions, and documentation.
· Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure product conformity
· Participate in new product launches and process changes
· Investigate customer complaints and quality concerns and lead corrective action activities
· Act as a liaison between customers and internal departments regarding quality-related issues
· Support customer audits, assessments, and visits and conduct internal audits (LPA, process, product)
· Lead root cause analysis investigations using methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, and Fishbone Analysis
· Support Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities
· Prepare and review Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation
· Review and maintain PFMEAs, Control Plans, process flow diagrams, and related quality documentation
· Monitor KPIs including PPM, scrap, rework, customer complaints, and internal defects.
· Prepare reports and present quality performance information to management and customers
· Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects focused on quality, cost reduction, waste elimination, and process optimization
· Provide quality-related training and guidance to employees and supervisors
· Comply with all company policies and procedures
· Support the afternoon shift Production Supervisor
· All other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in: Engineering, Quality Engineering, or equivalent in experience.
· ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) is preferred
· A minimum of three (3) or more years of quality engineering experience within a Tier 1 automotive manufacturing environment is preferred Automation systems
· Experience with IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SPC, customer complaint management, supplier quality, internal auditing, and continuous improvement methodologies is strongly preferred

This position is integral to ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives within our manufacturing processes.
Pay: $60,000.00-$82,500.00 per year
