Human Resources Coordinator

As the organization continues to grow, they are looking for a Human Resources Coordinator who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and wants to build a long-term career in Human Resources.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a small, collaborative HR team where you'll gain hands-on experience across the full employee lifecycle while developing into broader ownership of recruitment, health & safety, training, and HR operations.

What You'll Do
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you'll provide day-to-day HR support across a wide range of responsibilities, including:
- Coordinate full-cycle recruitment for hourly and salaried positions
- Support onboarding and orientation for new employees
- Maintain employee files and HR documentation
- Assist with payroll preparation, attendance, vacation, and leave administration
- Support benefits administration and employee records
- Respond to employee and supervisor HR inquiries
- Assist with employee relations matters and policy administration
- Support Health & Safety initiatives, training records, incident reporting, and compliance activities
- Coordinate employee training and development records
- Prepare HR reports, letters, and employment documentation
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and HR projects
- Assist with the organization's upcoming UKG HRIS implementation
- Support company events, employee engagement activities, and other HR initiatives as required
What We're Looking For
- 2 to 5 years of Human Resources experience
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related discipline, or equivalent Human Resources work experience
- CHRP designation (completed or in progress) is considered an asset
- Previous manufacturing experience is strongly preferred
- Exposure to a unionized environment is considered an asset
- Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR administration
- Payroll exposure is considered an asset
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience with Dayforce, UKG, or another HRIS is an asset
- Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality
