HM Pipe Products-Kitchener is currently looking for a full-time warehouse shipper/receiver/ pick-up driver. This candidate will also be required to deliver products to customers at times as well as pick up returns and products from vendors. Now a Core & Main Canada Brand!
Job type: Full- time, Permanent, Monday to Friday, Day shift
Hourly wage: Salary: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
Responsibilities and duties of the candidate will include (but not limited to):
- Loading and unloading of products
- Providing efficient, on-time and accurate deliveries to customers
- Verifying and confirming proper shipments of incoming and outgoing materials
- Operating a forklift (training will be provided)
- Lifting large and heavy items
- Organizing and arranging products into specific designated areas of the warehouse
- Providing proper organization and cleaning of interior / exterior yard
- Participating in daily inventory control and proper customer order selection
- Local deliveries and pick ups in company pickup truck
- Can properly load and secure (straps) before a delivery
- Communicates with customers in a professional manner and delivers excellent customer service
Qualifications and Experience
- G Class License preferred
- Forklift operator certificate preferred
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 kg with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to work outdoors potentially during inclement weather
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Prior warehouse experience preferred
- Prior waterworks industry experience is a plus
