Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, motivated and results-driven Account Manager / Sales Representative to join our growing team at ASTRAPAC. This role is pivotal in building and maintaining strong client relationships, expanding our market presence, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a proven track record in B2B sales and business development.
Duties
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company targets within assigned accounts and territories.
- Identify new business opportunities through market analysis, networking, and prospecting efforts.
- Manage existing client accounts by providing exceptional service, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions.
- Understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions to meet their specific packaging needs.
- Deliver persuasive and compelling presentations and proposals to clients, effectively communicating the value and benefits of products and services.
- Work closely with estimating, structural design, prepress, and production teams to ensure customer requirements are clearly understood.
- Lead negotiations to close deals effectively while maintaining profitable margins.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop campaigns that support sales initiatives and brand positioning.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and help resolve any concerns, claims, or quality issues in a professional manner.
- Conduct regular analysis of sales data to identify trends, forecast future performance, and recommend improvements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and product offerings to stay ahead in the marketplace.
Requirements
- Proven experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development roles.
- Experience in folding carton packaging, paperboard packaging, printing, corrugated, or manufacturing is an asset.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close complex deals effectively.
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—with the ability to present confidently at all levels of an organization.
- Demonstrated ability in marketing strategies and analysis skills to identify opportunities and optimize sales efforts.
- Ability to understand technical product details and communicate them clearly to customers.
- Leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving and team collaboration.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting sales data and making informed decisions.
