Business and Technical Training College is a registered Private Career College in Ontario dedicated to providing career-focused education in Healthcare, Childcare, Skilled Trades, and Business programs. We are expanding our Student Recruitment Team and are seeking motivated, energetic, and results-driven Sales Counsellors who are passionate about helping prospective students achieve their career goals.

About the Role
As a Sales Advisor, you will be responsible for guiding prospective students through the admissions process by promoting Business and Technical Training College's programs, understanding students' educational and career goals, and recommending suitable training opportunities. This is a target-driven role that combines student counselling, lead generation, community outreach, and relationship building. You will actively follow up with prospective students, participate in recruitment events, support digital marketing initiatives, and work closely with the Admissions, Business Development, and Marketing teams to drive student enrollment and promote the College within diverse communities across Ontario.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students on College programs, admission requirements, career opportunities, and its' benefits.
- Follow up with prospective students through phone calls, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, email, and other communication channels.
- Maintain regular communication with assigned leads and guide them through the admissions process until enrollment.
- Promote College webinars, information sessions, and recruitment events organized by the Business Development Team.
- Represent the College at community events, career fairs, cultural events, educational exhibitions, and promotional activities across Ontario .
- Develop and maintain relationships within local communities, organizations, and referral networks.
- Work collaboratively with the Marketing Team to create engaging social media content, including short-form videos and reels, to support lead generation initiatives.
- Maintain accurate lead records and follow-up activities within the College CRM system.
- Achieve and exceed assigned monthly recruitment and enrollment targets.
- Participate in regular sales meetings, product training, and professional development sessions.
- Perform other recruitment and business development duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of proven sales experience in one or more of the following:
- Student Recruitment or Admissions
- Education Counselling
- Insurance Sales
- Credit Card Sales
- Cell Phone or Telecommunications Sales
- Banking or Financial Products
- Immigration or Education Consulting
- Retail Sales with sales targets and commissions
- Business Development or Inside Sales
- Other high-volume consultative or commission-based sales environments
Community Connections & Language Skills
- Candidates should have strong connections within one or more multicultural communities (including Nigerian,Punjabi /Hindi , Nepali, Caribbean, Filipino, Brazilian, or Colombian communities) and must be fluent in English.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and closing abilities.
- Self-motivated with a target-driven mindset and a passion for helping prospective students.
- Ability to effectively use social media platforms and other platforms
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative sales team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office & CRM system
- Willingness to travel throughout Ontario to attend recruitment events, community outreach activities, and College promotional initiatives.
Compensation : $18.50/ hour to $20.50/hour + Incentive per enrollment
