Haulage North America Inc. is a growing transportation and logistics company specializing in freight transportation across Canada and the United States. We are seeking an experienced Freight Broker to join our team and play a key role in expanding our brokerage operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with shippers and carriers.
- Source new customers and generate new freight business.
- Negotiate freight rates with customers and carriers to maximize profitability.
- Coordinate and manage shipments from pickup through delivery.
- Track loads and provide customers with timely updates.
- Resolve any shipment issues quickly and professionally.
- Ensure all load details and documentation are entered accurately into the transportation management system (TMS).
- Collaborate with dispatch, operations, and accounting teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales and revenue targets.
- Maintain excellent customer service while building long-term business relationships.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–4 years of proven experience as a Freight Broker or in freight brokerage sales is required.
- Strong knowledge of the Canadian and U.S. trucking and logistics industry.
- Existing customer and carrier relationships are considered a strong asset.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transportation management software (TMS).
Pay: $60,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
