Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aides to provide high-quality support to individuals in assisted living, nursing homes, and home care settings. The ideal candidate will assist with daily activities, medication management, and personal care needs for seniors and individuals with disabilities. Responsibilities
- Assist residents or clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications following prescribed schedules and safety protocols
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote well-being
- Support residents with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and maintaining a safe environment
- Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to supervising healthcare professionals
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times
- Support residents in participating in recreational activities and social engagement
- Follow all infection control procedures and adhere to health and safety guidelines
Experience
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care environments is preferred
- Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring dementia care is advantageous
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols is a plus
- Previous caregiving or home care experience demonstrating compassion and patience is highly valued
- Training in caregiving skills such as hygiene assistance, meal preparation, and basic medical support is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed
