Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Gardeners to join our team for the 2026 season. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of creating and maintaining beautiful garden spaces. This role requires a commitment to ensuring that gardens are healthy, vibrant, and well-kept. The right candidate will be very detail oriented, love working outdoors, honest and reliable. The position will work closely with other team members to create and sustain aesthetically pleasing environments for all our valued clients.
Duties
- Perform regular gardening maintenance including weeding, planting, trimming, cultivating, digging and edging.
- Plant, cultivate, maintain flowers, shrubs, trees, and other plants.
- Irrigate gardens and landscapes efficiently to ensure optimal growth.
- Physical stamina for gardening tasks such as transplanting, digging, adding top soil and mulch.
- Monitor plant health and identify any pests or diseases that may affect the garden.
- Maintain cleanliness of garden areas by removing debris and litter.
- Collaborate with team members to design new garden layouts or improve existing ones.
Experience/Qualifications
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is preferred.
- Have plant and flower knowledge. As well as pruning experience.
- Proficiency in using hand
- A passion for gardening and a keen eye for detail are essential are a MUST!
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, heat, rain etc while maintaining physical stamina
- Candidate MUST HAVE reliable vehicle as our properties are loacted in Innisfil, Midhurst, Barrie, Oro and Hawkestone
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to take direction in a team setting
- Be able to lift 50lbs
- Works well independantly or in a team setting
- taking initiative is a MUST
- Able to work from end of April until the end of the season (Nov)
