Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team. This leadership role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and supporting staff development. Responsibilities
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily hotel operations, ensuring high standards of guest service and operational efficiency
- Supervise front desk staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and courtesy, maintaining excellent phone etiquette
- Support human resources functions such as recruiting, onboarding, and staff development initiatives
- Manage budgeting processes, monitor expenses, and contribute to financial planning efforts
- Coordinate guest services to ensure a memorable stay for all visitors
- Oversee hotel facilities maintenance and cleanliness standards in collaboration with housekeeping and maintenance teams
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service and fostering a positive work environment
- Assist in implementing hotel policies, procedures, and safety protocols
Requirements
- Proven Management experience within the hospitality industry, preferably in hotel management ( Minimum 2Years).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Experience with budgeting, financial management, and operational planning
- Knowledge of human resources practices including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to facilitate effective communication with diverse guests and team members
- Previous hotel experience is preferred but not mandatory; a background in front desk operations or hospitality is advantageous
- Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills are essential
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
