We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a keen ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering food and beverages promptly and accurately.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat customers, presenting menus and explaining daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders from customers using a point-of-sale system.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen sanitation as needed.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and provide change to customers.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any customer concerns promptly.
- Manage time effectively to balance multiple tables while maintaining high service standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in customer service or food service is preferred.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures is essential.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently serve multiple customers simultaneously.
- Ability to work in a kitchen environment, assisting with food preparation when necessary.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards guests and team members.
- Capability to sanitize work areas according to health regulations.
