Summary
Our team in Sudbury is looking for a Talent & Development (HR) Coordinator!
Responsibilities
-
Front line contact for team member questions
-
Responsible for the administration of payroll and Attendance Management
-
Assists in the identification and analysis of trends. Communicates observations and provides suggestions for incident reduction measures
-
Participate and support in the recruitment, hiring and onboarding of team members
-
Employee engagement
-
Events coordination – ordering items, food, set up, posters, clean up (town halls, lunches, recognition and service events)
-
Investigate employee issues
-
Assist with issuing discipline (such as verbal warnings) as per the CBA
-
Assist with H&S and Return to Work for injured team members
Requirements
-
1-3 years of administrative or HR Admin/Assistant/ Coordinator experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
-
Completion of HR Degree or Certification is highly preferred
-
Payroll experience is an asset
-
Exceptional coordination and time management skills required
-
Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Superior organizational, administrative and project planning skills
-
Self-directed with ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities
-
Detail oriented
-
Highly effective interpersonal skills to deal with internal and external contacts
-
Able to work well with a variety of people and maintain confidentiality

SAP, Kronos and Workday knowledge is an asset.
