You will have the opportunity to work on:
- Prepare compilation engagements and corporate tax returns.
- Prepare T1 returns.
- Prepare responses to CRA audits and reviews, including correspondence with CRA.
- Support with various tax and remuneration planning and consulting tasks.
- Preparing information returns (T4s, T5s, GST/HST).
- Support client onboarding

Requirements for this role:
- 3-4 years of experience in a small to medium-sized accounting firm.
- Proven experience preparing compilation engagements and corporate tax returns for Canadian businesses.
- Strong understanding of double-entry accounting and the ability to review work independently.
- Proficiency in Caseware, QuickBooks Online, iFirm, TaxPrep, Microsoft Office, and Adobe PDF.
- Excellent attention to detail, ability to work efficiently under deadlines, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Self-directed and capable of managing multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
Working Conditions
Full-Time Salary: This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $70k - $85k, based on experience.
Benefits: Health spending account and performance-based bonus available after the probationary period.
Work/Life Balance: We prioritize work/life balance and offer flexibility throughout the year. While we experience peak busy periods from January to May, we provide reduced hours and a more relaxed schedule during the summer months to help you recharge.
