Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Electrical Instructor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical principles and hands-on experience, along with a passion for teaching others. This role involves delivering comprehensive instruction to students, fostering a positive learning environment, and ensuring students gain practical skills necessary for success in the electrical field. Prior classroom experience is preferred, and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly is essential.
Duties
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans on electrical theory, safety protocols, and practical applications
- Conduct classroom lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on training sessions for students of varying skill levels
- Assess student progress through tests, projects, and practical evaluations
- Maintain a safe and organized learning environment in compliance with safety standards
- Provide mentorship and support to students, encouraging their professional growth
- Stay current with industry developments and incorporate new techniques into curriculum
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to improve course content and instructional methods
Qualifications
- Proven experience in the electrical field with relevant technical expertise
- Prior classroom teaching or instructional experience is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
- Knowledge of safety standards and best practices within the electrical industry
- Ability to motivate and engage students effectively
- Relevant certifications or licenses in electrical work are preferred but not required
- A passion for education and a commitment to student success
Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
