About the Role
As a key member of our team, you will play an important role in supporting both our patients and dispensary operations. You will help patients select eyewear, manage inventory, assist with contact lens orders, and ensure a smooth patient experience from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist patients with frame and lens selections
- Deliver, fit, and adjust eyewear to ensure proper comfort and fit
- Process and follow up on contact lens orders
- Support dispensary organization and merchandising
- Assist with inventory management and product ordering
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Answer patient inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
- Schedule appointments and support front desk operations as needed
- Follow up with patients regarding eyewear and contact lens orders
Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting optical showroom

Qualifications
Required:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Sales experience in a retail or healthcare setting
- Computer proficiency and comfort learning new systems
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
Availability to work Saturdays

Preferred:
- Licensed Optician designation
Previous optical or optometry experience

Schedule
- Full-time position
- 5 days per week
- Approximately 8 hours per day
- Includes Saturdays, with a weekday off when working Saturday
Flexible scheduling including one evening shift per week

Compensation
- Optometric Assistant: $22–$25 per hour
- Licensed Optician: $30–$35 per hour
Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and licensing
