Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Transport Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to transport freight and goods across various locations. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and adherence to transportation regulations. The Transport Truck Driver will play a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of cargo during transit.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight and cargo over designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, routes, and vehicle logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients regarding delivery schedules
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting to ensure vehicle operability during trips
- Follow all safety procedures and traffic laws to prevent accidents or violations
Skills
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience in freight transportation
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting vehicle issues
- Strong organizational skills for managing delivery schedules and documentation
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in various environments

Pay: $75,000.00-$92,000.00 per year
