Job Overview
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage end‑to‑end drop shipment operations and support daily logistics activities. This role is responsible for coordinating shipments, maintaining accurate documentation, tracking freight movements, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and cost‑effective delivery of goods. Key Responsibilities
- Manage drop shipment operations, ensuring direct delivery to customers in accordance with service and scheduling requirements.
- Monitor, trace, and track shipments using internal systems and external platforms; provide regular shipment updates and resolve drop shipment issues as they arise.
- Schedule and coordinate delivery appointments with customers and arrange transportation with trucking companies.
- Prepare and maintain accurate Bills of Lading, Packing Slips, Proforma Invoices, and export documentation for domestic and international shipments.
- Prepare and provide shipping documents for Import shipments.
- Create Manifest for receiving’s.
- Assign freight forwarders for new bookings and update vessel information, ETAs, container details, and drayage data within logistics portals.
- Request and manage line splits based on booking and operational requirements.
- Provide HS Codes and shipping details to global forwarding partners to support customs compliance.
- Perform daily updates to shipment tracking portals to ensure accurate, real‑time visibility.
- Prepare and submit weekly container arrival reports for multiple warehouse locations.
- Communicate mother vessel schedules and ETD information to internal finance and payment teams.
- Review, verify, and analyze freight invoices from forwarders to ensure alignment with expected freight charges and submit invoice requests for payment.
- Address and resolve shipment, delivery, and inventory issues in coordination with vendors, warehouses, and logistics service providers.
- Support the Logistics Manager with end‑to‑end logistics coordination, including bookings, shipment tracking, and operational follow‑ups.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders including sales teams, customers, forwarders, carriers, and customs offices to ensure smooth and timely information flow.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support logistics and supply chain operations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in logistics, supply chain coordination, or freight operations preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Familiarity with shipping documentation, portals, and freight forwarders
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Proficiency with logistics systems and Microsoft Office applications
