A Sales Development Representative is a salesperson-in-training. For a year, you’ll help Account Executives cultivate leads and sell Noah Digital’s services and products to businesses.
After a year of apprenticeship, you’ll begin to nurture leads of your own, and will take a generous commission for the relationships you help to create…which means that if you work hard, you can outearn many of your peers.
The Sales Development Representative is responsible for identifying sales opportunities for Noah Digital. Initially, there is not a high degree of technical knowledge required for this position. This position lays the foundation for a potential successful high tech sales career. There is a path for career growth within Noah Digital for the right candidate who is willing to learn and work towards that goal.
Your first 3-6 months
- Learn the Noah Digital’s products/services and messaging
- Learn the tools necessary to be successful: CRM, scripts, GoToMeetings, products/services info
- Build relationships with Noah Digital teams
- Leverage any opportunity you can to learn the market and the business
- Consistently meet prospect and sales goals
6-18 months
- Continue to build your core skills and product/industry knowledge
- Know what it takes to meet and exceed your goals and maintain the momentum to do so
- Begin to expand your knowledge of Inside Sales duties and responsibilities
- Work with mentors to set goals for yourself to gain consideration for promotion
Responsibilities
- Research prospective business and websites in targeted markets, pursue leads and follow through to a successful agreement
- Call and/or visit potential prospects to introduce Noah Digital services to them
- Understand the target markets, including industry, company, project, company contacts and marketing strategies to attract clients
- Collaborate with digital marketing teams to ensure that requirements are met
- Maintain relationships with current clients and identify new prospects within the area you have been assigned
- Possess a strong understanding of our services, competition, and positioning
- Follow the latest industry developments and stay up-to-date on corporate competitors
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
Desired Skills & Expertise
- BS, BA or MBA degree
- Fresh graduates are welcome
- Excellent organizational skills, with emphasis on priorities and goal setting
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and statistical analysis software
- Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Technical skills required to understand and propose digital marketing services or solutions by focusing on client requirements
- Ability to communicate information, whether technical or non-technical to staff members and customers, in a clear and concise manner
- Good at managing multi-task and multi-projects
- Good at working well on a team or on your own projects
- Ability to meet deadlines and self-manage workload
- Fluent in English. Mandarin is an asset
