Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities within an industrial environment. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage resources to ensure operational efficiency. The Maintenance Specialist will work closely with maintenance teams to optimize workflow and maintain equipment reliability.
Duties
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive schedule for all maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to production
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, inventory, and equipment status.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand electrical schematics and mechanical systems for effective planning.
- Coordinate with various departments to prioritize maintenance tasks based on production needs and equipment availability.
- Fabricate necessary components or parts as required for maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including completed work orders and equipment performance metrics.
- Analyze data from maintenance activities to identify trends and areas for improvement in processes.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience in a maintenance planning and/or inventory coordination in a manufacturing environment
- Administer CMMS program
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
