Overview
We are seeking hardworking, reliable and teachable Food Service Employees to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring that food safety and quality standards are met. The ideal candidate(s) will have a passion for the food industry and a commitment to delivering outstanding hospitality.
Also we cater, therefore we are looking for individuals who are willing to re-locate around downtown core!
Duties
- Prepare and serve food items in accordance with established recipes and safety standards.
- Assist in the opening or closing procedures of food service areas, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking order accurately on the Point of Sale system and addressing any inquiries or allergies.
- Maintain compliance with food safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage practices.
- Ability to collaborate and multi-task with team members to ensure efficient operations during peak service times.
- Able to assist in inventory management, including tracking supplies and reporting shortages when asked.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food service industry or kitchen is preferred.
- Passionate about creating delicious foods is a plus.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members preferred.
- Knowledge of a POS system is preferred.
- Knowledge of gelato is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail is a plus.
- Food handlers certificate is a plus.
