Kern Air Systems Ltd. seeks a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing HVAC Systems, indoor pool dehumidifiers, boilers, humidifiers, floor warming, and snow melt systems.
Key responsibilities include:
· Install, inspect, service and repair hydronic and HVAC systems, brazing, and soldering
· Diagnose and resolve issues with hydronic systems, including boilers, pumps, piping, and controls
· Perform routine inspections on heating and cooling systems to ensure systems operate efficiently
· Collaborate with other technicians on-site and staff to ensure efficient functioning HVAC systems
· Maintain accurate records of service requests, repairs, maintenance performed, and equipment evaluations
· Manage parts/equipment/accessories orders, records, and light administrative duties.
· Sales/Quoting experience is a bonus.
· Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
· Provide customer service by communicating effectively and professionally with clients
· Comply with all safety standards and regulations
Requirements include:
· Relevant certification (313D) in HVAC technology
· Gas license (G2)
· Minimum 5 years’ experience working with HVAC/Hydronic systems
· Strong understanding of Hydronics, boilers, dehumidifiers, and other HVAC equipment
· Ability to work as a team lead and as part of a team
· Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
· Working knowledge of local building codes and regulations
· Valid G driver’s license
· Clean driving record and background check
Job Type: Full-time, not subcontracted
Pay: From $ 35.00 - $ 40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.00 per week
