Part-time Dishwasher/ Kitchen Helper, minimum 20 hours/week. Must be available Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday nights: 4pm - 9pm. Please include your availability in the application.
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting kitchen operations, ensuring cleanliness, and assisting with food preparation. Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Packing a high volume of Takeout orders in a precisely order and well-organised packages.
- Restocking kitchen supplies as needed.
- Support the cooking staff during meal service by preparing ingredients and ensure tidiness.
- Clean workstations and all kitchen areas to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries in the kitchen.
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with organizing and washing dishes and kitchen equipment.
- A strong willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment is essential.
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with staff members.
- A passion for cooking and an interest in pursuing a career in hospitality or culinary arts is highly desirable.
