Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and energetic Barber/Stylist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide expert hair styling and grooming services while delivering outstanding customer service. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create a welcoming atmosphere for clients, ensuring they leave looking and feeling their best. Duties
- Perform haircuts, trims, shaves, and styling services tailored to each client’s preferences
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools
- Engage with clients through friendly communication to understand their grooming needs
- Upsell retail products and additional services to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales
- Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and processing payments
- Provide excellent customer service by creating a positive experience from start to finish
- Stay current with industry trends through ongoing training from national and brand educators
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients
- Proficiency in hair styling techniques for men and women
- Knowledge of sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
- Ability to upsell retail products effectively without being pushy
- Excellent communication skills for clear consultations and team collaboration
- Experience in retail sales and front desk operations is highly desirable
- A proactive attitude with a passion for continuous learning and professional growth
Pay: $15.00-$40.02 per hour
