Duties
- Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling according to client preferences
- Provide personalized consultations to recommend suitable hair care solutions and styles
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools
- Upsell retail products to clients to enhance their hair care routines and increase sales
- Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and processing transactions
- Deliver excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment and building strong client relationships
- Stay updated on current hair trends, techniques, and salon products to offer innovative services
- Ensure client satisfaction through attentive listening and professional advice
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hair styling or cosmetology preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices in a salon setting
- Ability to upsell retail products naturally and confidently
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients and team members
- Experience with retail sales and front desk operations is a plus
- Professional appearance with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude
- Valid cosmetology license or relevant certification as required by state regulations
