Position Overview
InCasa Home Care is committed to delivering exceptional, client-centered care that promotes independence, dignity, and quality of life. We are currently seeking qualified and compassionate Health Care Aides to provide in-home support services to our clients within the community in Edmonton and Surrounding Areas.
The successful candidate will demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and a strong commitment to maintaining the highest standards of care in alignment with individualized care plans and organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct personal care to clients, including assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene
- Support clients with mobility, transfers, and positioning in a safe and respectful manner
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe home environment
- Offer companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive and respectful client relationship
- Observe, document, and promptly report any changes in client condition or behaviour to the Care Manager
- Assist with medication reminders in accordance with established care plans and scope of practice
- Accurately complete and maintain required documentation in a timely manner
- Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and health and safety standards
- Maintain client confidentiality and uphold professional boundaries at all times
Qualifications
- Completion of a recognized Health Care Aide (HCA) Certificate program
- Registration with the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Clear Criminal Record Check, including Vulnerable Sector Screening
- Previous experience in home care or a healthcare environment is considered an asset
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle is preferred

Working Conditions
- Services are delivered within clients’ private residences in the community
- Physical demands may include lifting, bending, and assisting with client mobility
- Flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays, may be required

Pay: $18.00-$18.50 per hour
