Overall Job Purpose:
Reporting to the National Credit Manager, the Credit Representative is a highly driven and motivated individual with a passion for working in a fast-paced environment. You possess exemplary interpersonal skills, pride yourself on your ability to provide exceptional service and thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
Key Duties:
- Credit application processing, tracking, digitalize/upload to system
- Work with Credit reps to set up new accounts and create appropriate tickets to customer master for set up
- Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies at the request of the credit reps
- Process credit card charges and refunds as requested
- Address and respond to customer inquiries through our centralized branch Credit email boxes and/or phone calls and engage team members as needed
- Manage all remittances to ensure all are moved to our EFT folder
- When needed, resolve the invoice rejection report by contacting clients to validate contact information
- Work collaboratively with other accounting staff to ensure accuracy in finances
- Assist our Credit administrator as needed (cash posting, COD order reviews)
- Assist with audit inquiries
- Other AR duties as required
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years’ experience with accounting and/or receivable functions.
- Solid knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- Tech Savvy; skilled in MS Office, with a strong proficiency in Excel.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- High degree of attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills
- A desire and ability to work collaboratively with others to accomplish goals.
