Order Picker (Walkie Rider) – Full-Time

Job Overview
We are currently hiring experienced Order Pickers for our client in Scarborough. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with warehouse experience who are comfortable operating a Walkie Rider and working in a fast-paced food distribution environment.
Successful candidates must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to meet productivity and accuracy targets.
Shift ScheduleTraining Schedule
- 3:00 AM – 11:30 AM
- 6 days per week (Monday–Saturday, Sunday–Friday, or assigned 6-day schedule)
Regular Schedule
(Based on performance after training)
- 10:15 PM – 8:30 AM
- Shift may finish earlier depending on workload.
Job Responsibilities
- Pick customer orders accurately using an RF Scanner.
- Operate a Walkie Rider safely and efficiently.
- Scan, sort, and prepare products for shipment.
- Meet daily productivity and order accuracy targets.
- Follow warehouse safety procedures at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Order Picker/Warehouse Picker experience.
- At least 6 months of Walkie Rider experience is mandatory.
- Previous experience in a food warehouse is preferred.
- Experience using RF scanners, barcode scanners, and warehouse management systems.
- Comfortable using handheld devices and mobile applications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent accuracy.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must have CSA-approved steel-toe safety shoes from Day One (candidate must provide their own).
- Candidates living in Scarborough or nearby areas will be given preference.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Compensation & Benefits
- Performance bonuses available upon meeting productivity and accuracy targets.
- High-performing employees may earn approximately $28–$33/hour through performance incentives.
