We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic server to join our vibrant team. As a server/Bartender, you will be responsible for creating and serving beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining the restaurant and bar area.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and delivering drinks promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and alcohol service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
- Stay updated on drink trends, menu changes, and promotional offerings.
Skills
- Proficient in bartending techniques with knowledge of various drink recipes.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Experience in food service or hospitality is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with food handling practices to ensure safe preparation of beverages.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and accurate transaction processing.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
