Procurement Coordinator - Manufacturing & Distribution

Position Summary
The Procurement Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting our manufacturing and distribution locations across North America. You will execute day-to-day purchasing activities and support sourcing decisions to ensure continuity of supply, competitive costs, and on-time delivery.
This role manages material and supplier issues, issues and maintains blanket and spot-buy purchase orders, supports RFQ and quotation activities, and helps mitigate supply chain risks that could impact production or program launches.
Key Responsibilities
- Purchasing & Sourcing: Issue and maintain blanket and spot-buy purchase orders. Support RFQs and collect supplier cost inputs to inform sourcing decisions.
- Supplier Management: Assist with supplier negotiations, prepare contracts and purchasing documentation, and foster strong professional supplier relationships.
- Supply Chain Support: Identify and help mitigate supply chain risks that could impact production schedules or new program launches.
- Invoice Resolution: Research and resolve three-way matching discrepancies between Operations, Purchasing, and Accounts Payable.
- Process Optimization: Streamline documentation flow to ensure purchase agreements are executed and paid on time.
- Communication: Act as a central point of contact between Operations, Purchasing, and AP to prevent bottlenecks and keep data up to date.
- Compliance: Adhere to company policies, confidentiality requirements, and health & safety standards at all times.

Qualifications
- Experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain coordination in a manufacturing/distribution environment preferred
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
