Job Summary
The Field Installation & Service Technician will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IP telephone systems, network infrastructure, structured cabling, and IP-based security camera systems at client sites. The successful candidate will report to our Prescott office each morning before heading out to client locations throughout the region.
Duties
- Install, configure, and test IP telephone systems, associated network equipment and Security Camera Systems
- Run, terminate, and certify network cabling (Cat5e/Cat6 and related media) in accordance with industry standards
- Install and commission IP-based security camera systems, including cameras, cabling, and Network Video Recorders (NVRs)
- Perform service calls to diagnose and repair VoIP system issues, network connectivity problems, and security camera faults
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time on-site
- Communicate professionally with clients during and after installations
- Follow all health, safety, and company policies at all timesSkills
- Proficiency with hand tools and construction equipment
- Experience in construction trades such as carpentry, plumbing, welding, flooring installation, or tile laying
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately
- Knowledge of caulking techniques and restoration processes
- Familiarity with construction painting techniques
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
- Valid driver’s license preferred for travel between job sites
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
