About Us
Savoir Coffee is a new specialty Grab-and-Go Café concept nestled within our bridal boutique in the heart of Liberty Village. We're creating a destination for locals seeking exceptional coffee and a welcoming community space — and we're looking for an experienced barista who's ready to help us build something special from day one.
The Role
This is a high-volume, fast-paced position in a grab-and-go environment where efficiency and quality go hand in hand. You'll be the face of our café during peak hours, managing consistent espresso pulls, mastering our workflow, and taking ownership of the coffee program. Beyond the bar, you'll have a genuine creative voice in developing signature bridal-inspired specialty drinks and contributing to our social media presence.
What You'll Do
- Prepare espresso and specialty drinks to exacting standards in a high-volume environment
- Dial in and maintain La Marzocco espresso machine throughout your shift
- Manage workflow during peak commute times (morning and lunch rushes)
- Develop and refine signature bridal-themed specialty drinks in collaboration
- Create latte art and visually stunning drinks for social media content and guest experience
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and equipment care in a compact bar space
- Build genuine relationships with regular customers and contribute to café culture
- Assist with inventory, ordering, and supplier communication
- Support content creation — photographing drinks, sharing behind-the-scenes moments on social platforms
- Train and mentor part-time team members on bar standards and technique
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2–3 years hands-on barista experience in a specialty coffee or high-volume environment
- Experience with La Marzocco espresso machines
- Strong espresso fundamentals: dialling in, extraction, milk steaming, and latte art
- Essential: Comfort working quickly and confidently during peak rushes without compromising quality
- Creative mindset — excited about developing signature drinks and experimenting with flavours
- Strong social media awareness and comfort being part of content creation (no influencer skills needed, just genuine enthusiasm)
- Outgoing personality who thrives on building customer relationships
- Reliable, proactive, and ready to take initiative in a growing business
- Food Handler Certificate (or willingness to obtain before start)
