Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Sewing Assistant to support our manufacturing team. This role involves assisting with sewing tasks, fabric handling, and ensuring quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating, be reliable, and eager to contribute to a collaborative work environment. Prior experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn new skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist with sewing and fabric assembly
- Prepare materials and fabrics for sewing projects
- Operate sewing machines and related equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency
- Support inventory management by organizing supplies and materials
- Follow safety guidelines and company procedures at all times
Experience
- Previous experience in manufacturing or sewing environments is preferred
- Familiarity with sewing or textile work is a bonus, training will be provided for different projects
- Ability to work part-time hours with flexibility during scheduled shifts
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Reliable and punctual with good communication skills
