1827 Wine & Cheese Lounge is hiring a Dishwasher / Prep Assistant.
This is a great entry point into a professional kitchen. You'll keep the back of house running — clean, stocked, and organized — while picking up hands-on prep experience alongside our kitchen team.
What you'll do:
- Wash dishes, glassware, and kitchen equipment efficiently throughout service
- Keep the dish pit and kitchen floor clean, dry, and safe
- Assist with basic prep tasks as directed (washing, chopping, portioning)
- Take out trash/recycling/compost and keep receiving areas tidy
- Restock clean dishware and service items for front-of-house
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times
What we're looking for:
- No experience required — training provided
- Ability to stay on your feet and keep pace during busy service
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Comfortable working evenings and weekends
- Interest in learning kitchen prep skills and growing into a prep/line role over time is a plus
