Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating and serving a variety of beverages while ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing transactions efficiently.
- Handle cash and credit card payments accurately, ensuring proper cash management practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food service and alcohol consumption.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages as needed.
Skills
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Excellent customer service skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Familiarity with POS systems for accurate order processing.
- Previous bartending experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices.
- Experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is a plus.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
