Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Level 2 Dental Assistant to join our non-corporate, dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, support the dental practitioners, and ensure smooth clinic operations. Duties
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including dental surgery, implant placement and restoration and endodontic treatment.
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies, ensuring sterilization and cleanliness
- Manage patient records using dental software (Oryx), ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Take digital impressions
- Provide patient education on oral health care and post-treatment instructions
- Support front desk activities when needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow as a dental receptionist
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant with proficiency in dental assisting techniques
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
- Harp Certification and training in dental assisting is required
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must be committed to providing compassionate patient care and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
