Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aides to provide exceptional support and care to our residents and clients. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment, and promoting independence for individuals with diverse needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in assisted living, nursing home settings, or home care, with a strong focus on senior care and working with individuals with disabilities or dementia. Duties
- Assist residents and clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications following prescribed schedules and safety protocols
- Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors and individuals with disabilities
- Support residents with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning resident rooms and common areas to maintain a safe environment
- Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or supervisors
- Support residents during recreational activities and promote social engagement
- Follow care plans and document care provided accurately in compliance with facility policies
Requirements
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care is preferred
- Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or dementia care is highly desirable
- Ability to administer medications safely and accurately
- Compassionate nature with excellent caregiving skills and patience
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to perform light cleaning and meal preparation tasks as part of holistic care
- Certification or training in caregiving or first aid is a plus but not mandatory
- Must be reliable, responsible, and committed to providing high-quality care in a respectful manner
Pay: $17.45-$27.62 per hour
