QA Tester – Intermediate
On behalf of our client, Procom is seeking
QA Tester – Intermediate.
Responsibilities -Review business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Develop or update test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Identify testing priorities based on upcoming releases.
- Execute manual test cases to verify new features and enhancements.
- Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality has not been impacted.
- Conduct functional, usability, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Verify bug fixes after developers have resolved issues.
- Identify, document, and prioritize software defects.
- Log bugs with detailed reproduction steps, screenshots, videos, and supporting evidence.
- Work with developers to troubleshoot and clarify reported issues.
- Retest defects once fixes have been implemented.
- Create and maintain automated test scripts.
- Execute automated test suites before releases.
- Investigate and resolve failed automated tests.
- Improve automation coverage to reduce manual testing effort.
- Participate in daily stand-up meetings.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, product managers, and other stakeholders.
- Clarify requirements when expected functionality is unclear.
- Provide feedback on product quality and release readiness.
- Integration testing
- Maintain test documentation and execution results.
- Update test cases as features evolve.
- Document testing procedures and best practices.
-Functional UI Testing
Must Have: -Hands-on testing experience for APIs webservices- REST and SOAP, (3-5 years of experience)
- Strong automation skills, specifically with Robot framework but not limited to it.
- JIRA – some experience
-Cross -functional teams coordination ability,
- Good communication with stakeholders,
- Good analytical skills, effective requirements analysis, ability to work under pressure and meeting timelines.
Nice to have: -Familiarly with AI
- MCP Server experience Location: Hybrid – Mississauga (2 days/week)
Duration: 4 months contract
