Farmers Markets, Pop-Ups & Events
We are a growing local gourmet foods company based in Langley, BC, and we are looking for a full-time Sales Associate to join our team. This is a dynamic, hands-on role that blends customer-facing sales with behind-the-scenes kitchen and event support.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their workday — from engaging with customers at pop-ups and trade shows, to assisting in the kitchen, to serving food and representing our brand in the community.
Position Details
- Full-time role
- 4 × 10-hour shifts per week
- Three-day long weekend every week
- Mix of weekday and weekend shifts depending on events and schedules
- Must have a valid Drivers License
What You’ll Do
- Represent the company at pop-ups, farmers markets, trade shows, and special events
- Greet customers, explain products, and provide excellent customer service
- Process sales using POS systems, cash, and card
- Serve food samples and prepared items in a safe and professional manner
- Assist with booth and event setup, teardown, loading, and unloading
- Support kitchen operations including basic prep, packaging, and organization
- Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and presentation standards
- Help with inventory tracking, restocking, and event preparation
- Work closely with the team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
What We’re Looking For
- Friendly, confident, and comfortable speaking with customers
- Reliable, punctual, and able to handle a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable switching between customer service, kitchen work, and event support
- Able to lift up to 40–50 lbs
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and events as required
- Food service, retail, sales, or market experience is an asset (but not required)
- Food Safe certification is an asset (or willingness to obtain)
- A genuine interest in food, local businesses, and customer experience
