Job Overview
We are seeking a licensed Dental Assistant (CDA or LDA) to join our dynamic dental practice as our beloved CDA of 11 years is returning to school. The ideal candidate will be a motivated, detail-oriented professional who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a friendly environment with a focus on comprehensive dental services. The successful applicant will utilize their expertise in dental assisting, dental terminology, and dental software systems such as ClearDent to support daily operations and patient treatments. New Grads welcome. If you are crossed trained for front desk or want to learn front desk as well we are happy to train.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including implants and pediatric treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following infection control protocols
- Take and develop dental radiographs using digital technology
- Manage patient records accurately
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Educate patients on oral health care and post-treatment instructions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
- Polishing teeth, applying fluoride and oral hygiene instruction
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA)
- Proven experience with dental assisting procedures an asset
- Familiarity with the dental software ClearDent
- Knowledge of dental terminology relevant to dental practice
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Certification in radiography or the ability to obtain one upon hire is preferred

Pay: $27.00-$37.00 per hour
