Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes according to recipes and customer preferences
- Ensure all food is prepared safely and in compliance with food handling and safety regulations
- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
- Serve food efficiently to guests while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and kitchen area
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal results
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service and customer satisfaction
- Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food industry standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a grill chef within a restaurant or food service environment
- Strong knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques specific to grilling and barbecue cuisine
- Kitchen experience in the food industry is highly desirable
- Good understanding of the importance of food safety practices and hygiene standards
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if required
