Komline-Pure Water designs, builds, commissions, and services custom industrial water and wastewater treatment systems by providing turnkey treatment solutions for municipalities, mining, oil & gas, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, breweries, and remote communities worldwide. Using technologies such as reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration, membrane bioreactors, and modular/skid-mounted treatment plants, Komline-Pure Water also offers ongoing maintenance and support services, helping customers meet regulatory and environmental compliance requirements while ensuring reliable access to clean water and wastewater processing.
The General Manager will lead operations for the Komline-Pure Water business unit. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the overall performance, growth, and operational excellence of the business while ensuring alignment with Komline’s values, customer commitments, and long-term objectives. The General Manager will provide leadership across operations, sales, service, project execution, financial performance, and team development.
Roles and Responsibilities
· Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Komline-Pure Water business unit to ensure operational efficiency and achievement of company objective
· Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth, profitability, and market expansion
· Oversee financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, P&L management, cost control, and revenue growth initiatives
· Build, mentor, and develop high-performing teams across operations, engineering, sales, service, and administration
· Establish and maintain a strong culture of accountability, collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement
· Partner with sales and business development teams to strengthen customer relationships, identify new opportunities, and support revenue generation efforts
· Ensure successful execution of customer projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, quality control, and customer satisfaction
· Monitor operational metrics and implement process improvements to optimize productivity, efficiency, and profitability
· Collaborate with executive leadership to align business unit goals with overall corporate objectives
· Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, quality standards, and safety protocols
· Support talent acquisition, workforce planning, performance management, and employee development initiatives
· Maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, contractors, and key industry partners
· Drive a customer-focused culture that prioritizes responsiveness, service quality, and long-term partnerships
· Identify and mitigate operational and business risks while implementing scalable systems and processes
· Represent Komline-Pure Water professionally at customer meetings, industry events, and business functions
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Operations Management, Environmental Sciences, or a related field
· 7+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing, industrial services, water treatment, engineered systems, or a related industry
· Experience managing business operations, financial performance, and cross-functional teams
· Understanding of operational management, project execution, budgeting, and process improvement methodologies
· Ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and drive results in a dynamic business environment
· Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven decision-making approach
· Experience managing customer relationships and supporting business development initiatives
· Ability to travel as needed to support customers, operations, and business initiatives
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and business management systems/ERP platforms
Preferred Qualifications
· MBA or advanced degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
· Experience within the water treatment, wastewater, filtration, or environmental services industry
· Familiarity with industrial equipment manufacturing, engineered systems, or process technologies
· Experience leading multi-site operations or business units
· Knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or operational excellence methodologies
· Record of driving operational improvements and business growth.
· Experience working in a customer-focused industrial or technical service environment
· Understanding of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance standards
