Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Heidelberg Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. Operator must have CP2000 experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining press equipment to ensure efficient production processes. This role offers an opportunity to work in an environment where mechanical knowledge and manufacturing experience are highly valued. The Press Operator plays a critical role in ensuring high-quality output while maintaining safety standards across all operations.
Duties
- Set up, operate, and monitor our Heidelberg Press to produce high-quality products.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on press equipment to prevent downtime.
- Adjust machine settings to meet production specifications and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs as needed, utilizing mechanical knowledge.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including warehouse space.
- Operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment when necessary for material handling.
- Follow safety protocols diligently, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
Requirements
- Prior experience in operating a Heidelberg Press is required.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and perform major repairs on press equipment.
- Warehouse experience, including operating forklifts, is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety procedures.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/jog/flip great amounts of paper as required.
Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
