This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our People Plan by helping shape a positive, engaging employee experience across the organization. In this role, you will partner closely with leaders to support healthy, respectful, and effective workplaces, while advancing people strategies that enable high-quality care delivery.
As a People & Culture Business Partner, you will play a key role in bringing our People Plan to life—supporting our focus on engagement, leadership, and wellbeing—by:
- Coaching and supporting leaders on employee and labour relations matters, building strong and confident leadership
- Partnering on recruitment and onboarding to create welcoming, inclusive, and high-performing teams
- Leading workplace investigations with a fair, consistent, and just culture approach that supports psychological safety
- Supporting attendance management and other core People Services initiatives that promote wellbeing and sustainability

At this time this opportunity is scheduled for 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday. While this role is largely on-site to stay connected with leaders and teams, there is the opportunity to work remotely on occasion, where it aligns with team and operational needs.
What You’ll Bring
Required
- Bachelor’s degree specializing in Human Resources Management or a related field from an accredited university, or a diploma with associated experience

Minimum three (3) years of Human Resources experience providing independent employee and labour relations advice, guidance, and effective solutions

Experience in a unionized setting

Demonstrated experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and attendance support

Strong analytical, organizational, relationship-building, and computer skills
Preferred
- CHRP designation or eligibility for candidacy

Workplace investigations certificate and demonstrated experience leading workplace investigations, including harassment investigations

Familiarity with time and attendance systems, applicant tracking systems, HRIS platforms, and Meditech Expanse
