- Minimum commitment: Able to work 4 shifts per week.
- Day shifts: 11:15am - 5:00pm
- Night shifts: 5:30pm - 11:30pm
Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and energetic Summer Server to join our team for the busy summer season! If you are a student looking for a dynamic summer job or anyone seeking a fast-paced environment to provide exceptional dining experiences for our guests, we want you!
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
- Present menus, provide recommendations, and take food and beverage orders accurately.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while maintaining proper presentation standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly.
- Process payments using the POS system efficiently while ensuring accuracy in transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely preparation of orders.
- Adhere to all food safety, handling, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the menu, including food, drinks, and specialty dips.
- Keep service areas clean, organized, and stocked.
Qualifications:
- Fluent in English, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
- A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist colleagues as needed.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Smart Serve certification is an asset
