Duties
- Prepare and assemble ingredients for menu items, ensuring quality and freshness
- Cook dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
- Serve food efficiently and courteously to guests when required
- Support other kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure timely service
- Adhere to sanitation standards and health regulations
Experience
- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen safety practices
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and maintaining cleanliness in a kitchen setting
- Experience with meal preparation and food industry standards is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong understanding of food safety protocols and hygiene standards
