We're looking for a Part-Time Line Cook to join our busy, family-owned pub. We're proud of our positive workplace, supportive team, and the quality of the food we serve. If you're reliable, enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen, and take pride in what comes off your station, you'll fit right in.
What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing and cooking menu items to a consistently high standard
- Working efficiently during busy service while maintaining quality
- Assisting with prep and maintaining excellent knife skills
- Keeping your station clean, organized, and food-safe
- Working as part of a fun, professional, team-oriented kitchen
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of line cooking experience
- Strong prep and knife skills
- Able to stay calm and organized under pressure
- Positive attitude and dependable work ethic
- Passion for quality food as many of our menu items are made from scratch
- Available to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must currently live in the Nanaimo area
