Parts Person – Heavy Duty Diesel Engines
Chrome Diesel Repair Ltd. is looking for a motivated, organized Full-Time Parts Person to join our growing team.
This position focuses on sourcing heavy-duty diesel engine parts while supporting our service department through inventory management, warranty processing, and administrative duties. If you are detail-oriented, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have experience in the heavy-duty industry, we'd like to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Source and order heavy-duty diesel engine and truck parts
- Assist technicians in identifying and locating required parts
- Process customer parts inquiries and sales
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory
- Perform accurate data entry of parts, purchase orders, and inventory transactions
- Manage manufacturer warranty claims and documentation
- Track, process, and return warranty and core components
- Maintain inventory accuracy and organize the parts department
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Work independently while contributing to a team environment
Qualifications:
- Experience in heavy-duty truck or diesel engine parts is preferred
- Knowledge of heavy-duty diesel engines and components
- Experience with warranty claims and core returns is an asset
- Strong computer, organizational, and data entry skills
- Excellent attention to detail and time management
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
