Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The HVAC Installer plays a crucial role in ensuring our clients' comfort and safety by delivering high-quality installation services with professionalism and efficiency.
Duties
- Install HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation units according to manufacturer specifications and schematics
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation
- Perform maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC systems as needed
- Conduct plumbing connections related to HVAC units, ensuring proper water supply and drainage
- Utilize welding skills when necessary for custom fittings or repairs
- Work with mechanical components such as boilers, appliances, and other related equipment
- Troubleshoot system issues using mechanical knowledge and diagnostic tools
- Ensure all installations comply with local codes, safety standards, and company policies
- Maintain a clean work environment and document completed work accurately
Skills
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, repair, and maintenance procedures
- Mechanical experience with boilers, appliances, plumbing, welding, and general construction work
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams effectively
- Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations related to HVAC installation
- Experience working with mechanical components such as pumps, fans, ductwork, and thermostats
- Construction experience is a plus for understanding building structures during installations
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
- Must have G2 gas license
- Must have sheet metal license
- Must have clean driving record
- Must have class g drivers license
