Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Runner to join our team. Our Food Runners are important team players who are responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences. This is by ensuring timely and accurate delivery of food to customers, and ensuring they have all they need for a wonderful dining experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of food safety and hospitality standards. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in food service or hospitality environments and a passion for providing outstanding customer service.
Duties:
- Ensures all orders are correct, ready, and look presentable before delivery.
- Delivers orders from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately.
- Assist servers with refilling drinks, clearing plates, and attending to guest needs as necessary.
- Ensure all food items are presented attractively and adhere to quality standards before delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness of service stations, trays, and dining areas during shifts.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate order timing and special requests.
- Follow food safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
Experience
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation practices.
- Excellent communication skills and guest service orientation are essential.
- Experience with food preparation, cooking, or meal presentation is advantageous but not mandatory.
